About Me

I am Elizabeth A. Johnson and I grew up in Orange Park, St. Ann, Jamaica with five (5) sisters and two (2) brothers. I am the fourth of eight children and the mother of one son who is residing in the United States of America. I am currently residing in Kingston, Jamaica.


I went to Duff’s Business College where I studied for one year in the Secretarial field. I got a job right after graduation at the Institute of Management and Production, now the University College of the Caribbean, where I excelled in various courses in Supervisory Management, Computer Studies, Customer Service and Secretarial Effectiveness and Report Writing.


I have recently started Networking Marketing with the Global Rewards Team head by Mr. Rob Nunes of California who is the founder of the Express 2lgn and Prosperity3x2 programs, to name a few. Training is done by Messrs. Rob Nunes, Paul Skulitz, Patrick Couchman and Brian Downie. I am still being trained and my knowledge of the Internet has been enhanced over the weeks and has helped me tremendously. With any of these programs, you can earn multiple streams of income repeatedly while you learn. Now I am on my way to becoming a very successful entrepreneur and gain Financial Freedom and Success.



Work Experience


I have over 28 years of work experience in the secretarial and managerial field. I have worked for ten (10) years at the Institute of Management and Production (now the University College of the Caribbean) starting as a Programme Assistant/Receptionist through to an Administrative Assistant. My duties included providing high quality public relations service and to assist the Programme Manager with the day-to-day operations of the Programmes Department.


After leaving IMP in 1993, I did 4 months with Integrated Computer Systems as an Office Administrator.   My duties were to coordinate and supervise all aspects of the Administration/Personnel/ Accounting Department; coordinate all training courses and seminars offered by the Company.  I resigned from that post  in January 1994 because the job was not as challenging as I expected.


In that same year, November 1994, I got a job as Supervisor with George Azan & Sons Limited working in the Distribution Department where I was later promoted to position of Distribution Manager.   I worked with the Company for over thirteen (13) years and resigned my post in November 2007.   In March 2008, I was offered back my post as Distribution Manager, but I have accepted as a Freelancer.


During my tenure, I managed and coordinated the distribution activities of the Company’s products and services, which included quality and assurance control, security and fraud aversion controls, assistance in inventory planning and control. I was also involved in Human resources administration, marketing and distribution policies, fleet management, physical warehouse operations and facilities management.


My main duties and responsibilities were to manage the processing and distribution of merchandise placed on orders with the Company's sales representatives, and to ensure timely deliveries to satisfy customers and maximize sales; distribute motor-pool or fleet vehicles to Company drivers based on distance of trip, record document when vehicles begin and end delivery time; communicate with the driver in-transit or customers regarding status of freight; supervise assigned personnel, which includes work allocation, training, and problem resolution; evaluate performance and make appropriate recommendation for personnel actions; motivate employees to achieve peak productivity and performance; oversee the activities of the order processing staff and warehouse personnel, resolve problems with orders, delivery dates and service, also schedule delivery of orders.

Part Time Jobs


I have also done various types of data entry jobs ranging from creating email addresses and passwords, job application letters, edited resumes’, uploaded these to various job sites for DFR Investment Company (Intl.). I have typed theses and projects for College and University students namely: University of Technology, University of the West Indies, West Indies School of Public Health, Mico Teachers’ College and the Institute of Management and Production. I have also done data entry for the Women’s Centre at the University of the West Indies, transcription of various interview cassettes for students.
